Mining Guidence desperately needed...

I've recently returned and am returning to mining. Needless to say it's all changed. While I'm trying to find the information that covers all the new updates, I have some specific ones that if someone could help out answering, it would be greatly appreciated.

My Orca not has the new equipment on it and charges are applied, however when I try to boost my Hulks range for mining, it stays at 18 kl. This is not like before, where the range was increased. What do I need to do to increase the mining laser range?

Are there any additional skills I need to pick up due to recent changes? My mining was almost prefect when I stopped playing, now I'm not sure where I stand.

With the changes, what are the preferred methods of Mining? Meaning ships to Orca to Providence to Ark..

Are Hulks still the best for mining speed wise?

I have so many questions, if whoever responds doesn't want to write out their opinions, please add links to I can read the updates and what's and whys.

As far as I'm aware you can no longer boost ANYTHING off field, the boosting ship has to be on field with the ships that need boosting. I know this is true in PvP but I don;t know if this is true in PvE wise but you'd have to check that out. But Hulks are still best for group mining with an orca, it has to do with burst boosting, If you join the mining channel in-game I think you will get ur questions answered faster

I was in the mining channel last night and earlier this morning asking however no one answered outside of one guy who kept saying he needed isk.

How do I get the boost to work? I only used one type of charge in the foreman pieces which now there are 3. Do I need to get the other 2 types of charges and place them in each of the foreman pieces?

I was On-Grid when I was attempting to use the boosts.

I think I know what the problem is. The mining Forman now takes scripts(ammo) used in the when turned and sooner or later needs to be reloaded. Like a laser crystal, it will degrade and break.
