so basically:
it's all possible!
even 3 trimarks!

it all depends in what situation, against what, etc etc

check this spectre fleet fit for example

it needed the ancillary rig... to fit all the things...
if you are able to fit everything with 3 trimarks then... you'll have a very slow and tanky t3d

BUT!

the tank of t3d is in their speed (speed-tank) not in their EHP.
specially the confessor with propulsion mode, and if webbed the defense mode with sig radius bonus...

so maybe 3 trimar for large fleets could be ok
but for solo or small fleets you want to be fast to get in or get out from the danger, basically dictating the range etc
