What shame to you it must be, Kim, that you amount to so much less than I.

As for the evemail, it is indeed perfectly within CRC rules for me to post it. What's more, the only alteration was the addition of linebreaks to aid in legibility. The original mail was even less comprehensible than what I posted.

As to the rest, to be honest, I suspect the reason you aren't more roundly denounced by other State loyalists is how loudly, how incessantly, and how irrationally you berate those who speak against you. For most, it's easier to tolerate your blatant insanity than to actually denounce it for what it is.

First of all, it's your shame, not mine. I don't care about you and you are nothing to me but a toothless barking furrier on a leash and behind a fence. It doesn't mean though I will allow you post any lies about us or our State uncontested.

Moreover, I don't think I ever was denounced by any REAL loyalist, which makes it another of your lies. I have been regularly flying with so many loyalists, that I doubt you have even seen that number of loyal Caldari pilots in one place.

And again your claims about my "insanity", little you know but when I was in the Navy we were passing mental and physical health checks regularly. Anyone really interested could get my papers to see there was nothing wrong with them. But of course there won't be even slight need to do that, since, as always, your accusations are just empty groundless lies and slanders.

You are just pathetic, Priano, you throw accusation based on lie and hide your head in the sand, disrupting conversations and annoying people.

Now, go back to your sandbox and let adults talk.

Gods and spirits, can we just stop? Please? Is this really what discourse in the State has come to?

You're not children, neither of you. None of you.

Ms. Kim, a proper Caldari soldier respects the judgment of her superiors, and doesn't roam around throwing accusations at people even if she's angry. The hallmark of a good Caldari soldier is to serve her role and play her part, which normally does not involve screaming at people who don't share her chain of command.

A loose part knocking wildly around the inside of a moving engine is apt to cause a lot of damage. Please stop.

Mr. Revenant, Ms. Kim is a damaged person and may be flatly incapable of properly serving her role. Even if this is the case, however, you do neither yourself nor her nor Ishukone any good by joining her in rattling around like a socket wrench in a turbine.

"Blah, blah, blah." Do you really think your ancestors are pleased to see you talk that way?

Just ... just stop it. Both of you.

All of you.

Just stop.

Ms. Jenneth, there are a few things that I find most vexing about that whole mess.

In the first place, for better or worse, some of us always rise to the bait, which is unfortunate seeing as even a few nibbles will allow her to completely derail a thread. And, when she's hungry for attention, she will derail damned near anything in the Summit, and frequently does. A half-dozen interesting threads will become the usual frothing parade.

In the second place, those who attempt to intercede often do so with false equivalency. Even though you acknowledge that Kim is damaged, you still manage to equate the actions of Revenent-haan with Kim's. I'll acknowledge that I, for instance, am far more outspoken than is really respectable for a citizen-- but between those who usually tangle with her, who is most at fault? When an adult attempts to discipline an unruly child, do you berate them both?

False equivalency, Ms. Jenneth.

In any case, I digress.

As to the thread's subject, I believe the news is more or less past. Let's see how things develop.

She probably can't help who she is or what she does, Ms. Priano. There's no indication the same is true of him-- or you.

If you want to change what's happening in a malfunctioning system, you pay attention to the bits that can be changed. Really, I only pay attention to her at all, here, to demonstrate to Mr. Revenant and yourself that I'm aware that she's an issue.

A good soldier does not behave as Ms. Kim behaves, but Ms. Kim is a traumatized and broken person, not a good soldier. I'm not one who expects a typhoon to be silent because I yell at it.

I'm uninterested in blame, Ms. Priano. I'm uninterested in culpability.

I want the dynamic to end, and she's probably incapable of ending it herself.

There is nothing wrong in putting enemies of the State to their place. After all, we kill them in space and slightly raised tone is not really a crime compared to what we do to them physically. Unlike same Makoto, who spreads slanders about us, my accusations are always backed up by facts, Ms. Jenneth, and if I will be demanded to answer for my position, I am always ready to do it, would it be with word or weapon. I am not a coward and slanderer like Priano.

Are you going just to insult me now, Ms. Jenneth? I thought better of you.

Would you be able now though to answer for your accusations? Because you just did what you dared to accuse me in. Quite hypocritical of you, Ms. Jenneth, besides, you accusation of me being a "damaged" or "incapable" are groundless and fall under category of slanders.

I will gladly demonstrate what I am capable of... if you will dare to approach me and say it again, looking into my eyes. Or on my ship in space. I am not really hard to find, you know.

Ms. Jenneth, she's been badgering me incessantly for about two and a half years with her tripe, and has reposted a link to that farce of a threat at least sixty or seventy times in that period, if not more. I've explicitly opted to not post ARC-related threads, but instead have associates post them, because I know that in almost all cases she'll trot along within a day and attempt to derail it.

Often, even venturing to post about anything involving the State is enough to bring a response from her.

The only other way I can avoid this dynamic is for someone to take the rabid dog behind a shed and shoot it.

What you are capable of is not a reason for me to be silent, Ms. Kim. I spoke knowing that you have a history of challenging people who disagree with you or point out your wounds.

Once I would have been very worried to face you. But I take my duties a little seriously, and have been practicing. You failed to defeat my teacher. If you think you're a student's match, I'll oblige you if my duties allow.

But this is personal between you and me. I'll endanger no crew for your unfortunate, damaged sake. I've been kind of looking forward to a good test of what I've learned.

You'll do.

Edit:

So, Ms. Priano, if I spill Ms. Kim's intestines on the practice room floor, will you still insist I'm engaged in "false equivalency?"

As a note, she seems to respond well to losing duels. Maybe you could find someone to champion you? I'd offer, but, as you see, I seem to have my own entanglement.

Maybe Pieter?

That's an utter lie, Ms. Jenneth, that is inappropriate for your status. I will need to have a talk with your employer about your behavior, since I never challenge people for mere disagreement, but only for their direct insult. I would challenge you to answer for this too, but...

Knives, defined specifically to include longknives, single or paired. Other iron-age weaponry will be available if you prefer. This will be a formal bout, with no additional weapons, armor, combat implants, boosters, etc., permitted.

As a location, I propose Gottin's Lamp. I think you're already familiar with our practice rooms?

Edit:

Ah, that was an "or." Pick location as you like.

Hee. Well. I'm not quite assuming victory just yet, Ms. Falken. It's completely possible I'll lose. Ms. Kim's a soldier, highly practiced, highly motivated, and by all accounts pretty deadly. (Not being deadlier than Teacher isn't much of a black mark; he's scary.)

Whether I win or not won't prove any underlying reality, but it seems light only shines into Ms. Kim's mind through open wounds.

So, maybe I'll try opening one. Or a few.

I know her history a bit better, Aria. She's lost, badly, to everyone I know... Though I'll give "draw" to the time she had that heart attack in front of Steff, while they were dueling, since Steff didn't just skewer her and have done with it. In my case, she's had an open offer to come shut me up for two and a half years now. So far, nothing. I'm not holding my breath, but it's still there!

Either way, I like your attitude. We should talk, face to face, sometime.

She took of her fighter pilot gloves, slapped them back and forth across your face, threw them down at your feet, and you picked them up. I like that.

Oh..well, its civilized way to settle a disagreement.

Maybe ask your ancestors for good fortune in battle , maybe that will help , i think iv'e heard you say you're a practitioner of the Way.

Oh.. well, good luck to you both if you go through with it.
