Hello all,
I just placed my 1st Astrahus station and Re-Processing Plant fitted. My question is.... I will only use the station myself so its not public but everytime I want to use the Processing plant I have to put it online and that cost me 360 fuel blocks! Is that the only way without running it 24/7? Maybe I just have to put it online once a week when I have bulk processing of ore to do?

Also my alt/ assigned admin can not put Re-Processing Plant online or drop fuel blocks into the fuel bay only the station owner/admin seems to be able to do that... am I missing an option somewhere?
And does anyone know the number of fuel block to run the station online with just the Re-Processing Plant 24/7?
Cheers all

Hate to say it, but right now you're better off with a small POS and a reprocessing array unless you T2 rig that thing.

And yes, you have to pay the online cost each time you online it. No way around that. The other option is to leave it running and possibly open it up to the public; maybe you'll get some taxes and recoup some of the operating cost.

As far as who is allowed to fuel things... that's all down to access lists. There's no simple way I've found how to do it properly, but don't **** it up, especially if you do allow public access.

The cost of bringing the service module online is deliberately intended to discourage what you want to do. Unless you want to set the station public and become a landlord, you're better off reprocessing in someone else's facility. Given the number of Astrahus' already out there the chances of recovering the fuel cost through taxes are slim. It's also unlikely an Astrahus will be competitive for reprocessing once drilling platforms are released.

Almost nothing is cost effective for small groups operating a Citadel or Engineering Complex. Outside of major trade hubs I'm not sure how long most of the fringe structures can operate public services to offset fuel costs - even with modest taxes.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
