Preliminary autopsy performed en-route to Postouvin Keepstar Research Facility on the body of [Unknown Decedent #3723].
Note(s): Employee records of the Muttokon II orbital facility from Freedom Extension or RSS have not yet reached my desk. There is little luxury for time in these current matters so I have proceeded to examine the body without its full history.

From the anatomic findings and pertinent history I ascribe the death to:

KYONOKE; CATASTROPHIC BREAKDOWN OF CONNECTIVE NERVE AND BRAIN TISSUE LOCALIZED NEAR MEDULLA OBLONGATA

Anatomical Summary:

1. The decedent is a 31-year-old Sebiestor male who is 190
centimeters tall and weighs 140 kilograms. He was among
the dead near Muttokon II. Autopsy was performed 30 hours postmortem after
obtaining body from orbital containment.


2. No atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries is grossly identified at the time of the autopsy dissection.


3. The lungs are inflamed; left lung weighs 570 grams and right lung weighs 780 grams; no pulmonary thromboemboli are identified.


4. Hemorrhage of the tongue is identified. A 3 centimeter gouge on lingual papillae from subjects own forward incisors.


5. Hepatomegaly (liver weighs 2320 grams)


6. Left kidney weights 180 grams; right kidney weighs 181 grams.


7. 1 cc bile; 1 cc yellow urine; the stomach contents are dark green/yellow; no pill fragments or booster fragments are identified; the stomach contents weigh 162 grams.


8. The remainder of brain fragments weigh 514 grams; the brain and spinal cord have been disconnected and fixed in formalin for subsequent dissection. Gross neuropathologic findings consisted of swollen and edematous brain with opaque and congested leptomeninges. A cerebellar tonsillar herniation and soft, easily breakable frontal lobes were found. Coronal sections of cerebral hemispheres showed diffuse and multiple foci of hemorrhagic necrosis in both gray and white matter. A preliminary histopathologic examination showed a massive and diffuse inflammatory infiltrate, characterized by a high number of neutrophils, and a few eosinophils or macrophages.

Summary of Events:
The decedent is a 31-year-old Sebiestor male who succumbed to a violently fast acting strain of Kyonoke virus that overtook and broke down the protein pathways of the subject's brain and connective nerve tissue. Subject displays indications of total loss of bodily functions and gross motor control several minutes before his medula oblongota ceased to function, thereby shutting down the heart, lungs, and remainder of organs.
