They could change the ship maintenance bay to a fleet hangar instead. Having an extra 5k m3 storage would be slick.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I've got an idea: let it launch +1 drones but give it zero weapon hardpoints. Then it can devote all of its highslots to utility modules and leave drones for defense.

Yes, I'm sure the servers will be crushed under the weight of the sixth drone every Nestor is launching, especially because there's just Nestors everywhere isn't there?

We could "make the hamsters happy" more easily and more effectively by introducing a drone hardpoint system such that non-drone ships find it better to use larger drones instead of a whole bunch of small drones. For instance, instead of 25mbit/sec bandwidth, we could give them 30mbit/sec and 3 drone hardpoints. Now if they use 3 mediums instead of 5 smalls like before, they will do about the same damage but have less drone tracking and only 60% as many drones on the field. Fixes two problems at once.
