Does your CEO approve of your shooting off your mouth like this on the forums? Tell you what, I'll write to him when I've dictated this and invite him to experiment with wardec mechanics; then we can all have a jolly good time - in our Highsec homelands!

So do ours?
What's your point? Lol

I choose my engagements,
Just a recent example:
Was hunting war targets in my Dramiel, and low and behold, two ventures.
I tackle one (the one that didn't react), and I pop him.
By the time I'm done, a thorax, a jackdaw and a hyperion (lol) warp in.

At this point I was already burning away since I was in their home system, and then the name calling began.
Then "let's 1v1" even tho they had 5 dudes in system lol... how dumb do I look lol :)

They expected me to take my little frig against 3 bigger ships (of which 2 would have eaten me probably)
I doubt any experienced pvp'er would have taken that fight solo... in a frig :P

"Hey, that's big talk, little fella!" - Gotta love those Jungle Book lines, even if the Disney Machine did rather mangle Kipling's efforts.

I think we're talking at cross-purposes here, Lucian. We reside and work in Highsec, you, elsewhere. Our paths are unlikely to cross, it seems. If you do have cause to come visit, please look us up and buy your Permit, or better still, buy it before you cross the border into our territory.

I've told my PA not to pass any more of your comments to me unless they contain something other than school-yard taunts.

You're right, you're relatively safe from me. I can't linger in hi sec long enough to murder you... Some misunderstanding with the police.

So they are cowards because they won't go to lowsec to fight you, but you won't go to highsec to fight them?

Doesn't seem any different. If you want to teach them a lesson in PvP, go do it. Most of their regulars are -10 and operate in highsec fine. Your -6 shouldn't be an issue if you know what you are doing.

It's been said before and it bears repeating: CODE only goes after noobs with badly fitted ships. Any barge that can put up decent resistance (like the anti-CODE fits developed by the Rangers) is avoided like the plague because CODE. ARE. COWARDS. They do the EVE equivalent of 'stop hitting yourself' and then spew some cult-like nonsense to justify the rampant extortion that EVE's crappy combat mechanics let them get away with.

"CONCORD are the space cops. If you attack someone in a high-security solar system, CONCORD will commit police brutality." - Encyclopedia Dramatica

If EVE is a PvP game, then Anti-Ganking is emergent gameplay.

You seem tearful and self-righteous, Alessienne. Let me help.

Alas, badly fitted ships are not the exclusive province of the new player. You might find it difficult to believe (since you've clearly not seen it) that I've encountered 2008 generation players who've not a clue about fitting. "I want to mine-Mine-MINE - and I'll do it how I want!" - is not an untypical response from someone I've attempted gently to nudge in the right direction.

I kill new players, it's true. Why not? Does their decision to play EVE Online somehow exempt them from its core gameplay? Of course, new players are only a part of the rich banquet provided by CCP, and it would be rank ingratitude not to show my appreciation.

You mention 'anti-CODE' fits, but you don't do the PvP-ing public a service by providing them. Don't worry; you'll not be leaking super-secret intel; I think we're quite aware of how to fit ECM, Scram/Disruptor, and a counter to DPS. Or did you have something even more super-super-secret in mind?

Who are the 'Rangers'? Don't think I've heard of that clique...

You disparage the New Order and its Code of Conduct, dismissing them as 'cult-like nonsense'. You accuse us of extortion, and you deride CCP's carefully constructed and balanced combat mechanics as 'crappy'.

Seriously, miner, you need to calm down.

No, not a coward just a raving hypocrite.

You go after a Venture, kill it knowing that it's likely that the pilot is a newbie and has not got the experience to outfit it properly nor the the skills to fight well. But as soon as the odds go against you, off you go, in the knowledge that like the Venture you just shot to pieces you stand little or no chance of winning.

So a hypocrite and come to think of it a coward as well. And you think to justify all this with some so called "Code"?

Change the habits of a lifetime and admit the truth for once, The "Code" is just an excuse to shake-down those weaker than yourselves whilst preening that you are "adding content".

Oh for you information the phrase is "Lo and behold."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Gotta say reading this thread was hilarious, especially the replies from all the CODE members and sympathizers.

I remember a long time ago CODE posted a thread in the 'Missions & Complexes' sub-forum informing all mission runners they were in violation of their self imposed law and were required to buy their license.

Needless to say nothing happened other than CODE receiving a bunch of laughter and ridicule.
