Venture - 4 turrets just like HZO Refinery Ventures

You can have the 8 launchers on your Nighthawk if I can have the 8 launchers on my Golem...

4 is too much. I only wanted 3 in a thread i made because the venture has 3 clearly designated hardpoints as it was designed for 3 turrets.

It looks weird to have three hardpoints and then only 2 turrets unless you have something useless like a salvager or tractor beam on there to put something visual on the third hard point.

If they leave it at 2 they need to redesign the ship model and cut one of the hard point boxes off.

Ships have this if you look closely if the target is below your ship those turrets activate if it's above the ship then the oher turrets activate.

Nah it's 4, if you go out and find the npc ventures they have 4 lasers going while mining. 3 on the sides, and the fourth one is on top and on bottom of the little bridge in the center.

It bothers me that you can't fit 3 mining turrets on a venture even though the model has 3 hardpoints
maybe remove the 100% bonus

i wold be happy with a venture with 3 torrents on the ore pods.

the npc ventures only have a 10 second cycle and a min cool down.

No, it wasn't.

When they are doing the visuals for a ship model, they give the model a mount for every high slot. They didn't always do this. It used to only get a mount for every *turret* slot. It started with the Minmatar dread. It was the weakest dread, with split weapon bonuses, but not enough hardpoints to fit enough weapons to compete. They had dev'd themselves into a corner; they couldn't fix the ship because the ship model wouldn't let them. They had to get the art guys in on the job, which is a ridiculous thing to need to do for a balance pass. So now they just make sure every ship model has enough weapon mounts for every highslot. That also opened up the option for them to give visual models for non-weapons like tractors and stuff.

I assume this is supposed to be bait but "some alphas are quitting, let's F over all the others" sounds a bit ridiculous. Did you run afoul of an alpha ewar frigate gang?
