As a very new member of [-YS-], with only 3 weeks under my belt so far, I've been making a point of telling anyone that will listen that this is a great bunch of people Big smile

I'm usually around during the "graveyard" periods, and they always seem to be doing something, whether PvP or an impromptu mining op.

Though currently it small corp, it was recently pointed-out that they are top-10 on zkillboard.

The members have been nothing but polite and helpful.

Definitely 10/10 and 5-star recommended 👍

I last posted about what a great bunch of people I've found Yamagata Syndicate [-YS-] to have, so I thought I'd describe what it is like being a very small cog in a large alliance like Circle-Of-Two [CO2].

I participated in my second full-blown fleet recently *\o/*

I arrived rather late Oops as I have a weird schedule, so I asked if I was too late to join. I was told I wasn't, and was warmly welcomed into the fleet. We left the staging Keepstar right after that. Just made it in time!

The next part is a key difference from my first big fleet: I joined the logistics channel again (I was in a Guardian that Yamagata Syndicate previously gave me), and proudly announced that I was a logistics newbie.

I was then warmly greeted by many, and many people asked if I knew how to do X or Y, or needed any other help. My response was to consider me to be a complete idiot.

Did they berate me, or kick me from the fleet? No. Instead, one kind soul started a private convo, and introduced himself as my baby-logi mentor. He invited me to use the convo window to ask him anything I needed during the course of the fleet. I didn't need to ask him anything, but it was a great comfort knowing an expert was always close at hand.

I left the fleet having learned 3 new things, which is pretty good for someone that has been playing EvE for over 7 years.

I can't wait for my next big fleet opportunity!

P.S. Yamagata Syndicate are still a great bunch of people, too! As an industrialist, I'm still trying to help-out in any way that I can. When another new member mentioned saving-up to buy two Procurers to earn some ISK, I jumped at the opportunity to build him two, free of charge to get him started. That's just the sort of people Yamagata Syndicate are.
