hi to all.these are my feedback & ideals i sent in to eveonline & they Replied saying i should put them here t0-everyones thoughts on them is welcomed.=MY Feedback i sent in-(

to Support.this is Feedback on your ships the Roqual & Porpoise & Ice Harvester Drones, (1)-Ice Harvester Drones are to me & other players others have said there`ll not use them because there to big,to much bandwaith or takes up to much room,i think its 50 metters or bandwith or something. & ships have a small drone hold & can`t hold many muchless defensive drones to.so because there to big & take up to much space in the drone room players, not all but the ones i`ve spoken to will not buy or use them. (2)-Porpoise-is the biggest letdown & disappointment ever, some do use it but are not happy with it because first the ore holds to small.its supposed to be inbetween the orca & mining barges.heck theres cheap ships with that much space,a friend was in a,if i spell it correct,a harbringer that had 50k hold, same as the porpoise, how about the miasma & other faction ships like it,they have good holds to,players even put on one mining laser on them & mine with them-what am i missing here or do you get it,the porpoise don`t even use a mining laser to & it should.also the drone holds to small for both mining & defensive drones especially with ice harvester drones.give the porpoise more ore hold room & allow it to use mining lasers-like those other non mining cheap ships & make drone hold a little bigger. (3) Roqual-you said in this weeks eve news its the best mining big ship support ever or something like that,i disagree, its not & is at the bottom of the list & all because of one small thing-ITS NOT ALLOWED IN HIGH SEC AREA`S.in real life people have designed & built things for one purpose & other people have found uses for it on other things & the Roqual is the same.It should be allowed into high sec area`s to.my friend who got me on eve said if it was he`d buy one & i bet lots of players would.think about it with commen sense, allow the Roqual into high sec area`s or any where in the game.yes i know my feedback wont matter, thats what i was told, but atleast i tried.) .please all give your thoughts on these.Thank You Jim

1. I wouldn't be opposed to reducing the Ice Harvester Drone's bandwith to 25mb/s and doubling its cycle time. Would let me use one on a Procurer.
2. Please, tell us all how you can get the same yield and boosting power on your Miasmos. Spoiler: you can't.
3. Explain your plan to kill a Rorqual in hisec given it can tank something like 50000 DPS AND become invulnerable for a period of time. It's a capital ship and does not belong in hisec.
Also, holy wall of text Batman! Use some line breaks!

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

Can you please go through and add some returns or something and generally fix the formatting? That's a bit painful to read as it is right now.

I highly recommend reading at least the dev posts from the original threads for the Orca, the Porpoise, and the Rorqual to get an idea of where the devs are coming from here.

There's also the dev blog that explains the overall vision more fully.

  1. The whole point of the Ice Harvester drones is to be used on the Orca or another ship with significant drone bonuses. Because of the way stacking works they're pretty much only effective on ships like that. That they're not really worthwhile for normal mining ships is intentional.

  2. The Porpoise isn't supposed to be in between the Orca and the mining barges, it's supposed to be an intro and niche-case boosting ship. The mining yield is just to make it more viable with fewer people being boosted, it's not on the progression of pure mining hulls.

  3. The Rorqual is not supposed to be allowed into High Sec. If you want the greater rewards that the Rorqual offers then you're supposed to take greater risk by venturing out into Low or Null Sec space. A Rorqual in High Sec would be at literally zero risk of dying and would basically just hoover up belts in no time flat, there's no trade-off.
