I consider myself pretty capable at manufacturing, but this ones beyond me - bouncer I's have been selling at jita for about half of their build cost for a year now. Are there truely that many people that don't know how to spreadsheet or are bouncers coming from elsewhere?

I'm returning to the game after a little break so it's possible I missed something - I know that Rorqs have been roid-raping null for a few monthes but I've factored that in.

There may well be other items following the same trend, I just happen to have a bouncer BPO fully researched.

my guess is it is a result of a massive oversupply from a previous meta. ishtar and dominix fleets used to be common, not so much these days, also carriers used to be able to launch 10+ sentries each now they can only use fighters.

if you have 1000s of drones no one wants your options are either dump them for whatever you can get, reprocess, or hold them and hope for a better price later on.

You also get a lot of T1 drones from mission drops.

That happens for everything to some extent though, so I don't know if it's a cause or not. But I have a ton of T1 drones and I don't think I've bought a T1 drone in years.

It's this but mostly the carrier change.

When the tech 2 ones got to 50% of build cost I bought literally tens of thousands of them. I'm slowly selling them off over time but they are still miles below build cost.

They still get used. PVEers use tech 2 sentries often (or faction ones if they lack the skills for tech 2) and they slowly lose them over time.

As a side note are you interested in buying 17000 Garde II at a discount?

That's not untrue. However, I've never seen sentries being dropped in missions, only other combat drones. Oversupply from previous meta is way more plausible.

They do get dropped for missions (or at least did back in my last period of playing eve)... otherwise I can't explain the large number of T1 sentries in my hangar.
