Just curious do they even look when you create a ticket against an ISD ?

And what kind of action do they take against the ISD if found guilty?

And what kind of compensation towards teh player that was victim of an ISD wrong conduct?

Thanks

Yes, a Dev looks into it.

If its you being silly, none. If the ISD did something wrong, it'll be either a warning or they will be removed from the volunteer program. Depending on what they did.

If its you being silly you will be warned or banned from the forums for a time (or permaban if you are really out of order). If an ISD did something wrong you'll get an apology.

The last 2 are presuming CCP does things in a similar fashion to other games that use volunteer forum moderators.

CCP will gift the 'offending' ISD with trip around the world including all expenses paid (visa fee, pocket money, local transpo, etc).

You need an internet spaceships lawyer who can get you what you deserve for suffering mental trauma.

If and really if and ISD has touched your dolly in the wrong place CCP will deal with it by
completing and internal investigation over beers and popcorn.

Secondly you wont get any compensation for being touched in the wrong place as when you signed up to EULA you actually dont own anything to do with the game. Also CCP law basically says naff off and you would have to travel to Iceland to go to court and tbh they would lol at you over beer and popcorn.

Put your dolly back in the pram and move on.

If you were being annoying and ISD basically told you to HTFU, I don't think CCP will care.

I think an ISD would have to be truly abusive and out of line for there to be any action. I have seen interactions between players and ISDs that were getting out of hand and it was the player who was in the wrong even if the ISD just got feed up and told the person to HTFU.

It all boils down to privacy issues, and might be handled in a similar fashion to reporting a player. They aren't going to talk to you about it. And will take action if action is needed.

If you think that one of our fantastic ISD volunteers did a mistake and handled a situation not according to our policies, please file a support ticket.

Then, depending on the nature of the inquiry, either Customer Support senior staff will lead the investigation (if it is a complaint against in-game actions) or the Community team will do the investigation (if the complain is against actions on the forum).

We take such complaints very serious. Therefore please have a look at the policies first to see if there really was some misconduct.

I would like to add that our volunteers are doing an incredible amount of fantastic work (we should provide more insight on that in the coming months, probably at some point after Fanfest). It is easy to forget how much we all benefit from their enthusiasm and passion for our EVE Online. And of course, with so much work being done, there is always the potential for mistakes (which we don't see that often to happen at all).

Anyway, short version: If you think there was misconduct, please file a support ticket and we will investigate.
