Broadcast Follows:

Since the previous thread has been locked, I'm starting this new one for continued updates.

First of all, we have the first five floors built and we are starting to move our operational offices onto floor five as fast as we can set the plascrete and get the decorating going. Most of the first twenty floors are going to be retail and commercial office space, so we haven't gotten any families housed yet, but that day is now in sight and I'm terribly proud of the work that the contractors and staff have put in to get us this far.

The first permanent Arcology employees have been hired - they'll be based out of rented barracks accommodation until such time that hab units can be assigned to them. All permanent staff will live on site, so that they have a vested interest in the smooth running of the Tower - including myself, although I'll be one of the last to be situated.

As promised, here's an interview with Teihi Simohler a newly hired receptionist whose family has lived on Caldari Prime since the Exodus.

Interviewer: Teihi, please tell us about yourself.

Teihi:My name's Teihi, I've lived in Arcurio my whole life and I'm going to be a receptionist in the new Lobby facility of the Tower. I'm 28, I've worked in hospitality most of my career and I'm looking forward to the move. My husband is one of the contractors working on construction of air ducting and we have two children.

Interviewer:How will you contribute to the Tower?

Teihi:I'm going to be the first point of contact for many of the people who visit the Arcology. Most of those people are going to want to find or contact one person amongst the million or so housed here, and the quality of their experience will start being defined by how well I help them find what they need. I'm going to be one of the public faces of the Tower's staff, so my attitude and professionalism will be highly important.

Interviewer:Why are you here?

Teihi: I believe in Project Fresh Start. I want to be a part of the work that the Foundation is doing here and my husband and I want to take this chance to reconnect with our families roots. We were both thrilled when an offer that included real citizenship came along - especially because it includes a safe environment to raise our children along with Caldari healthcare and education. But it's not just about me taking care of my family, it's about helping others to do the same - I feel like I'm part of something important and very special.

Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Teihi, and thank you for your passion and commitment.

Teihi is a pretty good example of the kind of people that we're building the Tower for. People who want all the things that any of us want for ourselves and our family, but also want a chance to rediscover something important that they are currently missing. Whether it's Citizens from within the State who want a chance to live the dream of residing on the Homeworld, or long-disenfranchised non-Citizens who want to follow the Way again, it's clear that what we're doing is critical work that needs to be approached thoughtfully, professionally and with due urgency.

Any questions or comments from within the Capsuleer Community can be aired here, or directed to Foundation Chairman Pieter Tuulinen.

That sounds pretty amazing, is it going to be open for a public tour at a later point?

It is always nice to see people who want to work for others, like every Caldari should. The State provides the best education and services in the cluster, and it is awesome that they have reached finally our Homeworld, even if parts of it are still under hostile occupation.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

Looking back to the original IGS announcement, I will echo the admiration for the spirit of the Foundation's endeavor, as well as the sentiment that future good news will be gladly received.
