Penalizing non-combatants? Well, Anatolians ain't so bright. But they do their job. Me? I'm real bright. But I lack experience. I'm remedying that. Lord help you when I do.

EVE is supposed to be big. Living in null is supposed to be hard. It's glorified HS anymore. Caps are supposed to require full supcap support fleets. Now we can jump in solo in caps to get our rocks off. We need a major buff to jump fatigue. Excessive caps and the ridiculous safety in null are some of the worst things in EVE right now. Being able to jump from citadel to citadel all the way out of null is ridiculous. Buff jump fatigue, make null actually difficult to live in for a change.

True or false, you can fly ships other than jump freighters and caps, and those jump freighters and caps can *gasp* take gates?

Anatolians eat meat, right? They sure look like sheep. They clean the sheep, they wander around with them. They have even been observed to play with them.

But, at the end of the day, that ain't no sheep. Play how you want.

False.

It'll have the result of Alliances working more to ensure safe routes for their logistics. No one has to be a sitting duck, especially with tethering.

In low and null there's no such thing.

My industry alt, who is sitting in her Anshar right now in null waiting out a jump timer, jumps in low/null almost everyday. It's not all about shooting defenseless ships (I'll do that too in low/null - everything is a target).

Not every industry/hauling pilot wants safety. Make it hard, then those that are good at it gain advantage over those that aren't. Making things easy just rewards the lazy and incompetent.

Oh. Because some software company created a region of space delineated by a numeric scale... I'm supposed to just accept that as a sort of DEFCON scale? I should totally subsume my own view, in favor of theirs?

Hmm... As fascinating as that is, uh, no. I'm not gonna do that. Just like I'm not handing you a full api-key, I'm also not going to assume that I should kill you, because joe dumb-ass developer set a security rating.

That's not how life works, when you can think for yourself.

Mam I would love to see blockade runners get more use doing things like....running blockades instead of being told we will just jump around it

What?

No one is saying subsume your own view. Have yours. No problem. Accept that others are also entitled to theirs too.

If you ask a question and get an answer, no need to rant on. It's fine to not agree.

As for accepting some DEFCON scale, well yeah, we kind of all have to accept the mechanics of the game and the different gameplay in the different areas of space. It's a bit hard to play the game without doing so.

That's good, and when I have the life experience in my many puppy lives to kick your ganking ass? Trust me, I wiil. I'm not that great, now, but attrition goes both ways. I learn as I lose. When I can kick your ass to the curb, you can look forward to just that.

lol. This is a bit off topic, but I certainly welcome you shooting at me.

I don't enter highsec much, but you'll find me in Stacmon if I ever am. Mostly I'm in Syndicate and CalGal FW. Come kick me anytime. It's what the game is about.

Edit:
I just set standings and added you to my buddy list. If you do the same, then you can just run a locator agent (or convo me) and see where I'm at so you can find me easily.

Anytime will be some time. If you don't gank, I'm not even after you, though. I lose, a lot. But every time I do, I learn something, and make a change or three. At some point, parity becomes pretty close. Would you prefer that noobs just quit?

New players don't fly jump freighters.

I have no clue why this is even an issue in this thread. The OP has a belief '...that Jump Freighters make moving goods "too easy".'

This thread has nothing to do with new players and shooting them. It's about the ease of logistics because of jump freighters, which are flown by people who should by then, know how to stay safe.

I might do that. I actually respect you. Will you just gank me if I show up? I'll choose a cheap ship, just in case. I'd prefer Jonah, but you seem pretty able to educate, if you felt like it.

Or, you can just murder.

Good. What I'm looking for is a teacher. From what I have seen, you're a solid #2. I've deleted a few toons to make new ones, some amarr for lasers, etc, etc, and just got sick of it and settled on this one.

But, as I'm sure you know, I object to the Hamburglar Hunt, and have a weird schedule. Hospitals are like that. Sometimes it's 6 on and 6 off, other times I won't be seen for 9 days.

It's something that makes game life difficult, both here and in WoW.

The supply chain is a bit too massive, Cade, to try to apply the art of war to it.

Setting aside, for the moment, the murder of non-combatants, as opposed to treaties...

It makes no sense as a tactic. The supplies will still be shipped.

Let's pretend we're being honest. Blasting an expensive ship makes a nice killmail, right?

Hi, welcome to Eve, there are no such things as non-combatants, especially in Low and Null. Your continued attempts to apply real-life rules and morals to Eve continue to fail to impress.

Quote:

This is flatly incorrect, denying your enemy supplies can be very effective. If you nail the right shipment you can cripple their war potential, even in Eve, and it's demoralizing which is the main thing that kills Corps and Alliances.
