Wait the DUST forums are still up? Hmm well sadly I expect them to come down when the new eve forums go online.

This breaks our hearts on so many levels. Our Devs don't even talk to us. Thanks for having the courtesy to acknowledge us at least, fly safe

The game has been shut down. You don't HAVE any devs anymore. You aren't getting any answers from the higher ups because the higher up no longer exists.

I've been playing EVE Online since 2010 and the time I had ever felt the hype most for a video game was when DUST 514 had been announced. Being able to walk, talk, shoot, take cover, request orbital strike, able to shoot EVE player ships, on the planets of EVE, was the most innovative idea in multiplayer FPS history, ever. But since I hate the idea of playing FPS games in consoles, never played DUST. CCP's biggest mistake in history was to make DUST console exclusive, which meant you had a very limited player base, unable to update the game whenever it was necessary and hyper-limited hardware power. If DUST had been a PC game, it would have a massive player base and more EVE players who would come from DUST to enjoy real time integration with the EVE Universe. What happened instead?? The only integration was orbital strike from EVE to DUST, DUST imprisoned to PS3's rapidly aging hardware, thus adrift into oblivion unable to receive bug fix patches, graphics updates, new maps, vehicles, et cetera. Watched every frigging trailer and gameplay, read every article about DUST since it was announced, in a faint hope that some day CCP would do the right thing, bring DUST to PC. Waited for nothing for years, on the top of it, they announced Project Legion in a fanfest, in 2012, I don't recall clearly, said they'd bring DUST to PC with this name, but they didn't. In Fanfest 2016, CCP announced and made people play the demo of Project Nova, a PC version of DUST which is being built from ground up, but after that, no signs of life sparked from that project too, making the jump-balled DUST players fear that CCP may have totally quit releasing an EVE themed FPS game forever thanks to appreciating that VR dojiggers such as Valkyrie, Gunjack, which can go to hell. That guy Hilmar Peterson, Petursson, in 2016's Fanfest, grinned from ear to ear, while talking about that VR crap, on the other hand, was total meh while presenting Project Nova demo. No, Mr. Petursson! You don't have the right to abandon the idea of integrating EVE to a FPS game just like you showed in DUST's counterfeit trailers (remember Jamyl Sarum talking while Amarr mercs dropping on planet to wreak havoc). Been a follower of DUST forums since start, read the opinions of mercenaries since a fair amount of time, visit every frigging day for any faint update on Project Nova, digging Nova developers' tweets for any bit of update, but no. Enough is enough. Came here from the 'Doomed we are' thread under General Discussion of DUST forums, to lift up the voice of people who are waiting long enough for NOVA, if you don't show us anything about it in this 2017's Fanfest other than VR magafalator, I hope you go bankrupt and EA buy CCP for nothing, then make an AAA FPS integrated to an AAA space MMORPG. Down with your VR, down with your Gunjack, down with your internet spaceships.

There's still Dust514 devs around, cuz they're working on Project Nova...
CCP Logicloop posted now and then on the Dust forums and twitter, although it's been a while...
So yes, there's still higher up, be it somewhat on the silent side (nda).

Just another forum alt...

I think you fail to understand the concept of "shutdown". Still waiting to hear from my grand-pa since he died in 1991 but so far, nothing...

I think that DUST would be still here, if it would have been on PC from beginning.

I dont know who made decision to put DUST on console, where CCP had no experience, as if making FPS for first time would not be enough. They had to bring another studio to life in asia. I suppose thay had some kind of hard party when they decided that way.

I kinda miss that game. Really I just want to know whether they will make it or not. If not then just say so.
