would it be possible to get the naming convention on artillery set one way or the other?

720mm Howitzer Artillery
650mm Artillery cannon

would be nice if they could all be one or the other..

Howitzer and cannon are not the same thing. Cannon is a direct fire weapon while howitzer is indirect, plunging fire weapon. While this distinction is important to wet navy gunners I don't think it has much relevance to Internet spaceships.

So you're saying we should name them all cannon?
Since shouting a parabola in space is not possible.

Actually it is, just net in EVE.
There is a game where you shoot the other planets of your solar system and use the gravity of the sun, other planets and moons to manipulate the trajectory of your weapons. I just can't recall it's name :(

If you want an intelligent argument, please do, I'm up for it!

But if you want a trolling contest, I will win it by simply not participating.

You know we are talking about bullets?
And this bullet I moving maybe with the speed of sound 50kg mass fight distance 200km
Several hundreds of km away from a planet sun r anything other with mass.
How much do you think the bullet will drop due to gravity? If its 1mm its much but you won't call this a indirect fire or a parable.
