I found out today. Apparently me and a friend really got under the skin of some hardcore high-sec pvp'er with smack and logic. The kid has declared a personal vendetta to find me/alts/freighters and kill everyone of them. Kid flew off the handle and another corp mate asked what we did because the kid apparently started convo'ing everyone the corporate leadership to rail at us and declare how dead we were; and this was hours after the back and forth.

So a little smack talk to high sec merc will make them froth over internet space pixels.

With honor comes dignity, and as a merc I can say that we have our honor (at least some form of it) intact in times of adverse attention. The fact that someone got so upset over smack talk and let it show gives us a bad name.

Its always funny to see goons or anyone else failing to gank mining vessels. So why should you pay them for mining in peace at all?

Fortunately for those children in Haiti, the majority of the world's "Goons" operate outside of EVE in places where scamming, lying and cheating is frowned upon or outright banned. If they had to bank on the "generosity" and "honesty" of the Goons in EVE they'd be dead or dying.
