Hey everyone,

I am looking to recover the portrait of Aura, the EVE online help character. Does anyone happen to know if Aura (and other NPC's for that matter) are available through ESI? What would the characterID of Aura be?

Agents are available. You need the agent ID which is in the SDE. You can use the ESI endpoints "/characters/{character_id}/" and "/characters/{character_id}/portrait/" to get agent character info and portrait, respectively.

A bit of looking around turned up character ID 3019486 which looks to be Aura. If you plop that into the portrait endpoint I think you'll get what you want (which is this).

Interesting trivia, apparently Aura has a surname. That character's full name is "Aura Emrayur". Maybe others already knew that. I sure didn't.

More vaguely interesting trivia. There are actually twelve different Aura's, all with the same portrait:

"Aura Emrayur"
"Aura Sehmy"
"Aura Chaven"
"Aura Kisogo"
"Aura Amsen"
"Aura Todaki"
"Aura Bourynes"
"Aura Duripant"
"Aura Cistuvaert"
"Aura Hulm"
"Aura Ammold"
"Aura Ryddinjorn"

I have no idea why.

Thx a lot that was the ID I needed, looks a lot better than the "image not found-icon" :).

Huh, an Aura for each of the starter systems. I wonder if there was an old plan to customize Aura depending on where you start off - different tutorial dialogue or something.
