Why aren't Alpha clones allowed to use drones? It seems kind of unfair.Would it be possible to limit Alphas to only using civilian drones? If so that would be great!

why do you feel its unfair? go omega and use drones, thats really the whole aim of alpha accounts

Pretty sure alphas can use drones, Gallente should be able to get drones 5 and light drone operation 4 I think.

I am sure all Alphas can use small drones and gallente/amarr alphas can use medium drones too.

Amarr/Gallente Alphas can use Light, Medium, and Repair drones moderately well, but only get Turret skills.
Caldari/Minmatar Alphas can use Light drones poorly, but get both Missile & Turret skills.

we what does it tell you when you look at the requirements for mining drones?, the alpha is used as an extended trial its not suppose to make it easier for you to make isk, its to convince you to upgrade to an omega, i suggest you do that if you want to use the good toys
