As published by charter and submitted to public notice

In the name of the holy and indivisible God, be it known, to the present age and to future generations, that we, aided by the grace of Him who seeks us to Reclaim the hearts of men, have, in the general court of Asham Azor, and in the presence of clergy and witnesses, declared our intention to divide the Holding of Asham Azor.

The Holding shall be divided between the one hundred acres of land upon which the ancestral seat and estate of House Gallius lays, and the remaining one thousand, four-hundred and eighty six acres of land that constitute the Baroncy of Asham Azor and other inheritances. The new Holding created has been recognised as the Holdership of the Gallius Estate, which will reside with our person until our mortal death.

The Baroncy of Asham Azor has been granted with all its jurisdictions to our most loyal retainer and Grandson, Miguel Onzo. In addition to ennobling him, we have granted Lord Miguel the rights to the name of Gallius, and to carry the title Lord Gallius of Asham Azor. We have also recognised the right of his wife, Lady Kailen, to use the Gallius name, in lieu of Onzo, by right of marriage.

We have decreed by perpetual law, and with the rights bestowed unto us as a Holder, that they and their children alike, whether sons or daughters, shall, by hereditary right, hold and posses that same Holding. But if the aforesaid Holder of Asham Azor, our Grandson, and his wife should die without children, the Holding shall be returned to ourselves, if possible, or the Heir of the Sarum Family if not. The Holder of Asham Azor, moreover, shall not owe any other service to ourselves, and will instead pledge their person to the Sarum Family, The Empress Catiz I and her successors, and the Amarr Empire in accordance with the ancient oaths of House Gallius.

In retention of our position as head of House Gallius, we have further proclaimed and reaffirmed Lord Miguel Gallius and his legal descendants as our right and lawful heirs.

By our seal and the publication of this decree, let it be so

Really I'd kind of been wondering how this was going to work, since the elder Lord Gallius had recently become a bit ... prolonged ... on account of successfully becoming a capsuleer. The Amarr Empire's got some genotocratic qualities without even bringing in cloning as a factor. Being an heir gets to be maybe a little awkward, eventually, if you're stuck indefinitely waiting to inherit.

(This is also my best guess as to the real reason Heirs of the Great Houses aren't allowed to clone: a single Amarrian head of state can already last hundreds of years, and it seems like there's a practical limit to how long that's a good idea.)

It's not as though my opinion on such things carries even a feather's weight, but still: heartfelt congratulations to Lady and Lord Gallius.

My congratulations to the newly affirmed Lord and Lady Gallius, even as out of turn such congratulations might seem coming from one such as myself. To them I wish a prosperous future.

Out of curiosity, what would a summary of of governance policies and philosophies look like in this Holding in regards to civics, interpretation of the laws, attitudes towards modernization versus staunch traditionalism and so on? What does the economy look like and what is it primarily based on? Such things.

Asking for a fr... for curio... becau....

... basically, just want to know if it's worth bothering investing into the region or just mark it as valid targets for the Network.

As a sworn retainer to Lord Garion Avarr and his family, I am sadly already committed, so I will not be able to directly serve and assist Lord Gallius. He does, however, have my unquestioned support as my brother.
