Ishukone CEO Derided At CEP Session After Offering Assistance To Both Federation And State wrote:
NEW CALDARI - Ishukone CEO Mens Reppola was the target of scathing attacks from Lai Dai this afternoon, in a Chief Executive Panel session called to discuss progress on the resolution of the Kyonoke crisis on Oijanen II.

Reppola was targeted after stating that Ishukone would "continue to render any assistance necessary to both the Federation and State, in order to foster an environment of cross-border collaboration during a time of extreme crisis in both nations" with Lai Dai Chief Executive Alakoni Ishanoya standing from her seat at the CEP's debate table to confront the Ishukone CEO.

During an outburst that interrupted the session for several minutes, Ishanoya derided him in front of the other six members of the CEP, branding his statement "traitorous and insulting to the Caldari people" while simultaneously suggesting that Ishukone should "keep its affairs on the Caldari side of the border, and focus on care of the Caldari people."

The session was temporarily suspended for replacement of the Gavel wielded by Puok Kossinen, CEO of the Chief Executive Panel, after he apparently shattered the head from the grip of the ceremonial mallet while bringing the session back to order.

As talks resumed and Kaalakiota Chief Executive Haatakan Oiritsuu offered her more muted agreement that "Ishukone should place its priorities in assisting the Caldari people before assigning further assets outside the jurisdiction of the State", Ishanoya reiterated her disgust with Isuhkone's statement.

As the session concluded, Lai Dai's Press Office declined to comment on their Chief Executive's conduct, however Scope News did manage to field questions to the Ishukone CEO as he arrived on Caldari Prime.

When quizzed regarding Ishanoya's conduct during the session, Reppola responded that "she's a driven woman with the heart of a true patriot. We've never truly seen eye to eye, but she'll always have my respect regardless of how she chooses to express herself. I believe that collaboration without borders is the key to resolving the Kyonoke crisis, which extends far beyond the State's jurisdiction after recent events."

When further questioned about Ishukone's involvement in affairs within the Federation, Reppola offered a simple response, stating that "the Federation was gracious enough to allow us access to Caldari Prime after the conclusion of Operation Highlander. I see this as an olive branch for collaboration, while some on the Panel see it as an insult. I make use of every opportunity presented to me, regardless of the source."

At this time, the Scope's contacts at the Chief Executive Panel remain silent on the disruption that occurred during the session.

I couldn't agree more. I pray that more people begin to see the situation in this perspective, lest the efforts to stop this crisis be hindered.

Difficult decision-making. While I believe I understand CEO Ishanoya's reasoning, the prioritization of Caldari welfare should not come at the cost of exclusion of valuable data produced elsewhere. That point should remain true for Matari here in the Republic, and for the respective peoples of quarantine zones in Aridia and Solitude. Potential benefits of collaboration outweigh unlikely risks of detriment.

If we can't find a way to pave inroads to peace in such a climate as this, we never will. This disease threatens everyone, not just the State and it has already impacted all of the big four. Collaboration is vital to the efforts of thwarting the Kyonoke outbreak.

Ishukone continues to reflect an honorable way while being a voice of reason within megacorporate politics. Reppola handled the situation well, and maintains a spirit set forth by the honorable late Gariushi. I am filled with a sense of pride for my mother corporation, and will continue to be of service in any capacity available to me.

So the Provists have a new champion. It went so well the last time, I can't see this going poorly at all for this one.

One can only hope that's a shared sentiment across the borders in question, yeah? Nit picking seems a pastime on all fronts, when it's least wanted. Personally, I'm with you on the broad view. I'm pretty sure the virus doesn't care who it infects, so we really can't afford to be picky with where we counter it.

It's good to see some fire in the bellies of the members of the CEP, and given the circumstances, some harsh language seems the least of the State's worries. Hard-fought compromises are all the more valuable for the way in which they came to be.

I musy say: those of the Liberal bloc are accustomed to parrying the verbal attacks of frothing, close-minded folk. So rarely is it the CEO of a Big Eight corporation, however.

As one would expect, as an auxiliary associated with the Ishukone family of corporations, Itsukame-Zainou Hyperspatial Inquiries Ltd. supports Reppola-haan's ideals of free trade and multilateralism.

With Kyonoke Plague out of Caldari jurisdiction, stomping it out of existence is the best way to take care if Caldari people.

With Caldari, Gallente, SOCT and Minmatar research might combined we may be able to eradicate the threat before it inevitably slips out of quarantine zones and into the hands of those who are willing to turn it into a weapon.

It's been what, a couple of decades and our brightest minds couldn't solve it? Millions of people are infected right now and more than 300 thousand are already dead, how many have to pass away before we put the ideologies aside?

Such pragmatism (and defiance to pressure) is genuinely inspiring.

In this time of crisis, such efforts should be supported.

Imperial efforts in this matter seem to be in good hands. Thus, I am suspending ACA operations at this time, and will be putting in an application to an Ishukone/I-RED corporation at once.

Let's do what we can.

Aw! Looks like IKAME lost the fight for Graelyn's recruitment before we knew it had begun.

Curses.

On the matter of the CP comments, I'd say this: the comments were well-crafted to goad certain parties, and are in turn gracious to the Federation. Given the circumstances on the ground during that crisis, diplomacy and joint administration were of interest and value to both sides.

Of course the CEP is derisive when it is suggested the State help fix the infection they allowed to happen.

The only derisive individual that was publicly announced is the CEO of Lai Dai. The rest of the CEP members, to our public knowledge, were not derisive outright. I suggest you exercise more discernment when trying to toss an entire nation into the line of your ridicule.

We agree, with the sentiments of the Lai Dai Chief Executive Alakoni Ishanoy, regarding Mens Reppola statement, being traitorous and insulting to the Caldari people.

Its not the first time Mens has been traitorous against the Caldari people, we all know of his past.

We support the actions of the Chief Executive Alakoni Ishanoy. If Lai Dai decide any action needs to be taken against Ishukone, my corporations will stand side by side with Lai Dai.
