All the trade lookup sites seems to assume you already have a godly amount of ISK already in your wallet and a freighter that can carry a small moon. (EVE-Central Trade Tools appears to miss calc what I can carry sometimes)
So I made a spreadsheet that if the total cost is greater that I am willing to invest (or just can't...) it will set the total cost to red. This gives a visual indicator to check out the capped values.

There are 3 sections.

  • Best - If I had the ISK
  • Capped - Break down based on ISK Cap
  • Short Stack - Only a few items left with seller? Calc what a micro shipment would make

I also threw in an approximate game time calculation.

Good/Bad/Done before here is the site?

Is there anywhere we could acquire a version for testing?

Cheers for making the spreadsheets, that's the right way to play EVE ;-)
But keep in mind, that you dont need to own a freighter. There are numerous players and organizations that will be happy to provide courier services.

Not sure my little 20mil jobs have enough margin to use a service. Perhaps after I do a couple hundred runs to get an idea of "hot" items. I can make a bulk order and park it in another region.
