So how do you know if the system you are in goes into Time Dilation mode?

Little icon appears in upper left-ish corner of your screen. Starts green, transits to red as time dilates more. You are unlikely to ever see it in Deep Core Mining. Blink

When you're 2000 man blob lands on gridwith their 2000 man blob, and everything slows down, but miraculously, hasn't stopped... (hopefully)

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

Actually, he might. I've seen it when I was the only one in local.

It looks like everything is happening in slow-motion (including effects), and you get the little icon thing telling you exactly how dilated time has become.

It does seem to kick in at some strange times though, but the end result is better than being black screened for 5 minutes and hoping you load grid.

Confirming TiDi doesn't affect all the systems on the dialated node. You're funny...

Still pretty unlikely, as I don't think 0.0 systems are on same node with empire systems, although I can't remember where I read that. Might be wrong.

Thanks for the replies. Actually I saw it in Jita.... at about the time this message was posted. Not sure if that is expected behavior for the Jita node, but it does explain why I saw the Jita local well above 1700 a couple days ago.

Edit: Missed that there was a vid in the dev blog on TiDi ICON HERE

Confirmed that this was what I saw kick off in Jita...
