CCP could care less about our input. That is absolute fact born out by how they are going to make the changes without ANY consult from the playerbase.

Developers are not known for listening to criers of doom that flail about.
If you want them to listen, I suggest you produce some numbers and maths and pretty graphs showing how this tiny change will cause carriers to be worthless.
Or fail to be able to produce said graphs and realise the sky isn't actually falling.
