With one post CCP Fozzie just devalued our Rorqual pilots.

Your injected SP just loss half its value.

I injected 60 billion isk worth of SP, which is now worth 30 billion if I extract it.

So I am out 30 billion.

That is about 30 plexs, which translates to approximately $450.

That is F!@#&^% Felony theft.

tell us more so we can blame you harder

Dude if you calculate the loss in value for every active rorq pilot in game, it's probably in the hundreds of thousands of dollars he just stole from everyone.

Go get them, tiger.

But before you pay an expensive lawyer that then tells you that the supposed thing they "stole" from you belonged to them all along, read the EULA.
Also, you're entitled to nothing. You made a choice, you used those SP to exploit a broken mechanic in dire need of balancing and now you're butthurt about it being nerfed.

Oh, and bashing Fozzie for that? Like, is he solely responsible? I can guarantee you that he's not. He just happens to be the person to announce it. Almost everyone at CCP will be in agreement with these changes, so why don't you blame the company as a whole instead of that one single person that people love to bash for whatever reasons?

1) the rorqual has been in need of a nerf for a while. your total yield might go down, which means that shock and awe... a MINING SUPPORT SHIP is going to need to actually... y'know... support other ships for max yield rather than accomplish it solo. the thing it was originally designed to do. in case you didn't notice, yes excavator drones have been nerfed, but the mining boost bonuses have been increased by 10%

2) your SP are worth the exact same amount they where before, the injector market doesn't give a damn if its roqual skills your extracting, or titan skills, they are all valued the same. YOU chose to spend the isk to inject the rorqual skills, you still have access to those skills, and those skill points, you knew when you injected them that you would be getting the diminishing returns effect. if those 60b can only be extracted and sold for 30b, well thats something you knew going into it. and so long as you made more than 30b in profits mining (which if you didn't WTF are you doing) the you still made a profit off of it. so stop whining.

also: is it just me or are nullbear tears so much more delicious than the high-sec variety?

Actually, those of us that loved DUST 514, have a HELL of a lot more right to whine. A lot of people paid a lot of real money, and CCP pulled the rug out from under us. I paid some, knowing that this would happen, eventually. But, still. DUST 514 I found to be an awesome game, better even that CoD.

But CCP said no.

If something is that OP you go and spend 60b on it, assume other people probably will too, and don't be surprised when it gets nerfed.

It happens to everybody at some point, if they play long enough. Ship rebalance adjustment, rules change, loot drop tables change, whatever. "Oh well, there goes X number of ISK invested X dozens of hours invested micro-tuning some operation." It's force majeure, an unpredictable act of Bob, some statements previously relied on are now null and void. Kind of face-puncher when it's your area that got hit this time around, but you get over it. Maybe after you try out some other MMOs.....

Yes CCP Fozzie and another one of his brilliant ideas... get people interested in mining .. making stuff ..then nerf it hard... then came back and nerf it again while screwing the panic button so hard my rorqual will fly funny for a week. Fozzie PLEASE go somewhere else and screw up someone elses game. And leave the Rorquals alone.. in your feedback thread the consensus was to leave it the way it is ... will you do that... will you actually READ the feedback and go with what we tell ya ... Or will you do what you always do and do what you want.
