Does anyone know if these 'upgraded' anomalies are capable of escalating/creating an expedition?

I've heard conflicting info on the matter.

Escalations are rare. Can't give everyone escalations, or it would flood the market and make all the faction drops worth less. Not not all escalations even get the faction drops. Only guaranteed the overseers effects.

I've never had Forsaken or Forlorn or whatever else escalate in highsec before. That doesn't mean it doesn't necessarily but most would be unwilling to talk in absolutes like that because CCP has been known to ninja nerf/boost sites and there's also people that think they got some niche and information is valuable.

I've gotten faction rats from them on the last wave though.

I know for a fact you get faction spawns, I've had two shadow serpentis spawns in named anoms today.

No escalations though. I've never seen hidden/forsaken/forlorn escalate... yet... (this is all in high sec)

Hidden Den`s in and Forlorn Hubs escalate but very rare. But this is in null...

For every 10 normal Rally Points that i rush i get 1-2 escalations. Cool

For every 10 Hiddens or Forlorns i sometimes got 1 escalation if i have luck.
Faction spawns happens Lol.

Yes to this.

Ive seen a lot of discrepancy through the years as to what drops or how well. I did many many anoms a long time ago and it was faction spawn happy times but never one escalation at all ever. Then the faction spawns died and more escalations, then the after they nerfed the tengus being able to enter the 4/10s they escalated a lot more and faction spawns dropped considerably.
I have never seen an escalation in the forsaken/forlorn and hiddens myself but have seen faction there.

So CCP does rebalance this a fair bit and never posts about it obviously. Tbh I would assume that CCP wouldve changed it for Ascension but that is only that, pure speculation. YMMV Blink

They do, at least the Forsaken ones. I've gotten a few Staging Fleets and faction spawns from those.
