in the discussion about the nerfing of caldari drake the myrm was lifted as useless..a jack of all trades and the master of none.

between amarrs armor resistance and minmatars no need for cap to the gun gallente doesnt really have much to bring to the table.

gallente has no edge.

I suggest:

make gallente a true drone race no half meassures.
add a ship bonus to myrm and other ships where they use 1 more Drone Control Unit I per level of the ship skill.
expand the dronebays.

remove weapon slots..make them utility slots.

I've been thinking about the matter and the reality of the matter is that gallente simply, currently, suffer a problematic match up between armor-tanking and close range weaponry, while the minmatar have the optimal speed/shield tanking and long range weaponery.

Swap them! Swap them now!

Minmatar becomes fastest with closest range, and gallente slower with longer ranged. :D

Why would you force all Gallente pilots to use drones? The things are next to useless when it comes to potential DPS, unless you start giving them super bonuses from the ships. Unless you remove drones from all other races, this isn't going to change either; because drones are intended to supplement dps, rather than being the primary supplier of it. Even then, you have to consider that a ship without drones, that relies on them, suddenly becomes dead in the water if they get left behind or popped.
