Time Dilation Broken?

We just had a 100 man gang fly through our constellation, which enabled Time Dilation in all the systems in the constellations for around 5-10 minutes. Is this as intended? The gang literally just flew past, there was no engagement or fight. I've been in many fights with 100 people before with no problems. The system I was in that was under the effect of time dilation had two people in it. Is this what EVE is going to be like now? Any response from CCP or someone who knows about TiDi would be appreciated.

Same for me. We can't even find a fleet around that would be causing this. No idea why it's happening to us.

This is really weird. Where was it happening to you? We had it in the IPS constellation of Geminate

don't know. Is it the case that neighboring systems reside on the same server? If not than it could be still working since there could be a system somewhere else in the galaxy which tears your empty system town.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

It's not so much that. I know it affects the whole constellation, and that's fine. But this went to like 12% dilation with only a 100 man gang moving through the system. Only 100 guys. Ridiculous. And it stayed on for like 10 minutes. Then happened again when they flew back. I just posted in the TiDi feedback thread. I guess there isn't much else we can do.

Hrrm. Sounds like this could be exploited - a 100 man gang slowing time to give the bigger fleet more time to catch up and jump you.

Systems are generally not mapped per constellation (as far as I know) but completely random. A few days ago there was a large fight in the drone regions that some of our members participated in, TiDi was activated of course but the funny thing is that our home system was on the same node (systems are ~50 jumps apart, the TiDi percentage in both systems were identical all the time) as the system with the fight. It was fun reading carebears complaining about TiDi ruining their ratting in alliance chat and the guys fighting trolling them. Good times were had :)

Systems are not all on the same node based on The eve map.

So all the systems in a constellation can be on different nodes.

So a fleet fight on the other side of the universe can cause time dilation where you are.

There is no way to know what systems are on what nodes.

You're an idiot. CSM had nothing to do with how CCP mapped their systems.

And your response is the same every time.

Years ago I watched FA sit in the loop and never leave it. I never figured out why Goons had a POS in Yong, why they pushed a burn out of Provi.

Kinda makes sense looking at the current pet maps. You guys must have been so glad to see Aralis leave.
