Sometimes, you just want to grab a t1 frig and take every fight you get. FW is a great way to do that, but after a few days you've burned through 150m and now you need to spend time making more, converting lp, etc.

It would be nice if the relevant factions had a selection of fitted t1 frigates to take to FW for free, no holds barred, just for gameplay reasons. The mods themselves would be kind of like rigs in nature, unable to be taken off, only replaced (Ususally with better ones or something). You would also be unable to contract the ships, yadda yadda, all the details.

Yes, I know. this would dearly upset some market prices. Yes this making eve more casual. But really this is a game at the end of the day, and whats a little number upset in exchange for some fun.

No warpcore stabs and you can only capture a PLEX using one of these ships.

Hmmm, even with that restriction this suggestion is still a no.

... a small plex can generate enough lp at T2 to pay for a fully t2 fit frig just run one of those ever now and then. You even get fights while doing it.

read the post, lugh. I'm talking about taking out the time and energy to make more isk and convert lp

that is literally about ten minutes of JCs to the office near your local hub and then moving the items. it can be once a day a week or even month depending on how well you are at isk management

NO - there are industrial players that feed the need for those ships, whether they do it for ISK, or do it because they like making stuff is no relevant to this you idea would remove the markets these players use.

Obviously no. Eve has a market.

Consider passive incomes. With six planets you can comfortably make 100mil a week doing pi in hi sec. Then theres trading and/or industry. Use these to top up your lp income from fw.

'at the end of the day its a game' - yup. So stop being selfish and trying to ruin it for others.

Since when is Eve ever about free stuff?

If making money is taking too long then either make an alt and market trade, or find a quicker way to make money. Maybe sell your FWar LP or something. Either way, no to this idea. If you want a T1 frig then buy it.

Problem one: Industrialists deserve some fun, too. Problem two: Frigates are made from minerals, so it would take about 1 day until tons of people are taking "free" frigates and turn them into their personal source for free minerals. CCP would have to reduce the amount of minerals you can get from recycling them to nearly zero, like with corvettes. That would lead to tons of other problems with the industry-system.

So you basically want to CCP to rework half the game just because you are too lazy to stash some frigates in advance? That's a bit much, don't you think?

You've got a free rookie ship whenever you want it.

Spend a year playing industry. If you still think this is a good idea then we can have a conversation. Until then, buy your damn ships and stop being an entitled brat.
