Data Sites and Sleepers

So im just wondering why are data site sleeper spawns harder to face in wh's then regular sleeper anoms. The loot from data sites arent even that great so why such hard sleepers, I could understand if their protecting relic sites because relic sites is nice isk

Because when wormholes were added to the game, it was very much worth it to run the sites. Over the years their value has gone down drastically. There has been no tweaks to the sites in like 5-6 years.

This.

The value of these sites is determined by player driven economics. People have been running these sites for a long time and in excess of the amount of materials from them that are actually removed from the game. The result is a fairly low value for the sites at present.

well after killing the sleepers with my hurricane passive fit, i made 18m blue loot 10m from salvage, ran the data site and made an extra 20m guess that isnt to bad, last data site i did with sleepers paid out 1.2m isk lol

You're going to get this off of anything with random loot drops. The value in exploration sites is always in aggregate, not in a consistent payout each site.
