I assume this is my Tengu flying backwards?

1. Why?
2. I kinda like it.
3. CCP you should turn the engines around and make it like this.

yes, but I think that you'll find out that front-engine ships, besides having a "soft cap" on raw Horsepower before having their stability going bonkers, they are quite prone to understeer much more than rear-engine ships.

even when you apply a limited slip inertia dampner, you're still prone to understeering, so you'll crash your ship in the nearest rock that shows up in space when you rev up that thing.

But with the engines in front the ship will accelerate faster because the front moves first!

only if it's matari stuff. they build lightweight ships that, altho lack confort, are quite reliable and you can tune them up quite well.

you still get a bit of understeer here and there, and the engines lack torque, but they can get quite speedy.

Besides, it would burn up in it's own flames unless you stack up the thermal resists.Smile

Clearing your cache will make it fly frontwards again.

Actually, that's generally not a problem. The Tengu an inherently high thermal resist to compensate for the unusual engine orientation. It's an amazing piece of engineering and is a testament to the ingenuity of Caldari...

My Loki does this too. But only with certain sub-system configurations.

I noticed that too, it is depending on the subsystems.

But it is not dependant on the fuel catalyst (what you would think). The tengu flys backwards if you fit the dissolution sequencer.

You have to clear your cache to fix it.
