Depending on skills. With 2 accounts you can lazy mode it and go anyship with free high slots and a logi.

You might as well get the full damage from a second ship.

IMHO the shield ships are better at pve, becasue you dont need any kid of ewar in pve.So you can put tank+prop(+MJD) on the mid, and dammage/apply on the low.

Also, using a sentry boat as your second ship makes micro management easier : set your drones to assist your first ship, et voila.
I think the gallente ships are best in that regard, putting a MTU down, MJD, then deploy sentries and assist.

It really depends on the ship. Sometimes you can shield buffer many of the missions without needing either shield or armor reps.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
