Always use a trusted third party broker for wh sales if you are worried about this kind of thing. There is little protection for these scams.

However, there is absolutely nothing you can do if they decide to stay in the wh after you have moved in and harass you. Unless you PvP them to death and kick them out.

There are a few prohibited scams, but WHs, on the forums or otherwise, are not one of them. Scams that are forbidden are any that involve the following:-

• Impersonation of any other entity.
• Newbies in the starter systems.
• Convincing someone to buy PLEX with real life money, then scamming the PLEX from them.
• Any kind of scam involving character sales.
• Anything to do with PLEX for Good or other charities.
• Falsifying API data.

Typically the seller will scout you in once the they, or a third party, have the ISK. You should contact the seller and tell them what you want so they can be ready for you, and once in chat with the third party state your terms so they know what you expect out of the deal too.
