Looking for Suggestions on how to Finish off 2 PI alts skill plans

Greetings capsuleers,

I recently took advantage of the MCT promo on my two paid accounts. I decided to create two PI alts, one on each account. I 'think' I've gone as far as I can go with PI for the 30days they can train, and will have roughly 6 days left over. Any suggestion on what to train them those last several days?

My current toon layout is;

Account 1:
Slot 1: (main) Combat / Cloaky / Explorer
Slot 2: PI

Account 2:
Slot 1: Hauler / Trader / Salvage / PI
Slot 2: PI

For my PI alts I merged together the EVEUni skill plan and a skill plan from Wingspan I found on reddit. Here's what they'll have trained;

Cybernetics I
Command Center Upgrades IV
Interplanetary Consolidation IV
Remote Sensing III
Planetology IV
Advanced Planetology III
Energy Grid Upgrades II
Long Range Targeting II
Target Management III
Signature Analysis III
Evasive Maneuvering III
Warp Drive Operation II
Mechanics III
Hull Upgrades III
Shield Management III
Shield Upgrades IV
Shield Operation III
Shield Management III
Fuel Conservation II
Trade II
Retail II
Broker Relations II
Science IV
Gallente Industrial III
CPU Management IV
Cloaking III

Any suggests are appreciated.

Cheers,

Rysdan

*Edit: Added Trade IV, Customs Expertise III, Evasive Maneuvering IV, and Spaceship Command IV

I was in the same situation a while back and I trained NAV skills . Everytime you undock you use them (Specifically Spaceship Command and Evasive ) and I also trained up a Cyno toon but that takes a bit of extra time. Otherwise higher Gal Indy is nice.

If you are going to do PI in a WH or NS it would also pay to train up the other 2 slots as well. PI toons pay for themselves very quickly if you have a good setup in a good area (400-500 Mil per toon per month is not unheard of).

If these PI ALTS will work in highsec train Customs Code Expertise

Advanced Planetology requires Planetology to 4, not 3.

Have added Spaceship Command IV and Evasive Maneuvering IV. Looks like more Gallente Indy wouldn't be of any additional benefit until level V? And perhaps with my first set of PLEX I can afford, I'll use my two remaining slots for another pair of PI alts. Thanks for the advice.

Added. Thank you!

yeah, sorry forgot to make that change when copying over the skill plans. It's queued to IV. Thanks for the catch.

Sorry you had Lvls 3's mentioned in your list. I trained lvl5s but if plex/isk is an issue its not really worth it.

Gal indy gives your Epithals more PI cargo space each level, its a few thousand per lvl.

PS, PI in HS is not that great, may not be worth training up the extra slots as the Taxes / Low Yield are a killer.

ah, good to know about the cargo space with added levels for the Epithal.

Ideally I'll be in low-nul-WH, but as I'm just getting started in PI and in an NPC corp, I may start in HS just to get the hang of it with not 'as much' risk, so figured adding the Customs Expertise wont hurt.

Thanks again for your input

You can only log in 1 character at a time. Rather than train the two extra slots, I'd recommend you put that next 30 days into the same guys you have. Instead of 4 half assed characters, you will have two *better* characters.

Good suggestions above ^^^
Add a Viator to your evemon and train into it
Cloaking
More nav.

His second account already is already a hauler so unless he spreads himself (Alts ) to cover a larger area having multiple toons with the same function seems redundant.

PI with 3 characters on 1 account gives you up to 18 planets. The ALTS only need to login for a few minutes every couple of days to update their programs and once a week or so to harvest. They can easily produce enough PI to PLEX the account in nullsec.

I have trained mine to also do research/copying - a second income stream that runs in the background. Gallente industrial 1 is the only ship related skill the ALTS really need if you're flying in reasonably safe space - highsec or sovereign nullsec. A nereus to establish colonies and an epithal to harvest PI. Additional navigation or tanking skills won't hurt, but neither will they help all that much. Use your main to move stuff to market.

Trading stuff between ALTS on the same account can be a hassle but it's easy to station trade if you have a second account. If they're all in the same corporation you can share a container in one of the corporate hangars.

I disagree that you are better off training your main - you can train an alt to level 4 in less time than you can upgrade your main to level 5. Getting 5 planets instead of 1. This math also works for research and manufacturing, they all scale well for multiple characters on 1 account. Get everyone to level 4 before you start working on level 5.
