Hello!

I run two accounts. This one, and another which is a lowsec PVP account. This account doesn't get much action. I've trained into Mining, Reprocessing, Manufacturing, and Science. I have a lot of industrial skills. I'm mentioning all this because I'm having difficulty figuring out what to do with it.

I could start manufacturing things, but I feel like what I'd be able to accomplish as a single toon is quite limiting, or not really worth the effort.

MY QUESTION: Are there any real corps of indy related pilots that work together on big manufacturing projects and split the returns? Are there corps that work specifically for contracts to certain alliances or corps? If so, where would I look for one? Meaning, what types of things should I keep my eye out for when finding a heavy industry corp?

Or solo, what do you suggest a solo indy account get into? I want to use the skills I've trained. What would be worth my time?

Thank you.

Most coros that work on large projects are made from 2-5 pilots with multiple accounts between them .......... best bet imo is to look for a null group that offer some nice ECs to build from and work on build a reputation with them so they ask you to help with major builds...... as a solo builder T2 production can yeild some decent profits from simply importing the mats

If you're in low-sec, do any of the FW groups have industrial operations to supply their needs?

Most nullsec and lowsec alliances will have industrial activity. This may be a few players in otherwise PVP centric corporations or an industrial corp in a PVP centric alliance. Larger projects like capital ships and structures will involve many players - some to harvest raw material, some to build components, some to build the end product.

Miners are welcome in most sovereign alliances both to provide raw material and to help maintain the ADMs.

You can create a successful industrial operation in highsec with 1 account but you'll want 3 characters on that account, all trained for research, production and PI. Create your own corporation and rent an office in an engineering complex. Since PI, manufacturing and research are all largely background activities, you should still have time to PVP on your other account.
