(inb4 "EVE has sound?" jokes)

EVE sound doesn't work on one of the systems on which I run it, though it does on another. Both run Ubuntu 16.04. Any suggestions on troubleshooting? Other games and applications use the sound system successfully, so it doesn't appear to be a hardware or core system issue.

I had no sound in eve but then I

  1. checked launcher logs
  2. wine error "err:module:load_builtin_dll failed to load .so lib for builtin L\"winepulse.drv\": libpulse.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
  3. sudo apt-get install libpulse0:i386

Make sure you have all appropriate x86 libs installed.
