New invulnerability fields

Damn I'm excited about the new invuln fields - like any other crapdari supercapital pilot is.

Does anyone know the stats of those new invulnerability fields? My best guess is that it follows the convention that Pith C=Kaikka's, B=Thon's, and A=Vepas' officer mod. Confirmed knowledge about this, anyone?

Still waiting for the shield version of the slave set, though, and the X-type invulnerability fields. Maybe our ships actually become useful before we all use that upcoming supercap skill reimburse option.

If you're really that excited you can use search function and find those in just a few seconds Lol

Serious now: well actually all you have to do is take a look on SISI or SiSi database, at the beigining those will sure cost an arm or a leg but 2 or 3 months latter they will be affordable witch would just be good for the game.

But more than anything, it will make caldari navy invuls more affordable and used more in PVP on tengus/nighthawks etc.

Something else for you?

You can build up tank without sacrifice Damage, a build-in Rep-Modus for your Main-Defence + the choose of an additional rig that give you a faster Shield reg.

But hey, maybe then come the self-repairing Armor (along with a rig to boost it) and the mid-Slot Damage mods.

Edit: Sorry, i forgot about the low-Slot Mods to boost the Shields.

Well the meta's they listed fall between DG invl and the weakest officer. Guess it will be like the coreli C-type through A-type.

This game needs a R-type Big smile

CN invulns may drop a little bit, but not much. The supply of the deadspace invulns won't be enough to replace more than a small percentage of the the supply of CN Invulns, and the Invuln price is based on the price of the tags used, which in turn are also supported by the demand for CN BCUs. I'd be surprised to see CN invulns dropping more than 5% because of this.

I would be very surprised if they ever released a shield version of the slave set. The reinforcing effect that would have on passive shield tanks would be obscenely overpowered...

Spot on. CN invulns are priced based on the increasingly tight tag supply. DG invulns are de facto pegged to CNs. Adding Pith and Gist to this mix won't much change prices; even if there were suddenly a decent supply of deadspace invulns available, CNs would actually just dictate the price floor (massive oversupply of deadspace mods not withstanding).

WTB dg invuls 50m ea.

Okay they will never be faction EANM cheap, but i can dream!

About time tbh ccp, now fill in some of the other gaps in the complex items, it must be very easy to add a new module and list it in a drop table.

They shouldn't be. Compare the damage reduction a faction EANM provides over its T2 counterpart to the improvement of a faction invuln to its T2 version. The invuln is actually closer in improvement to a B-type deadspace module!

Right now, there's a massive hole between T2 and faction invulns. CN invulns reduce incoming damage by 12% relative to their T2 counterparts. Faction EANMs give a 4.3% improvement.

I'd really prefer to see Domination invulnerability fields buffed to about 33%, with a Republic Fleet version introduced to match. The tag demand and drop rate on these items should be on par with faction EANMs, since that's the level of improvement they would provide relative to T2.

The imbalance you are talking about is not only present on resistance mods but also quite obvious when looking at armor reppers vrs shield boosters.

CN IF are so expensive because tags are expensive. their market cost is their production cost plus TINY extra to achieve acceptable ISK/LP ratio.

if the new IFs will be common enough to cost under CN IF cost, no one will buy CN IF from LP stores, and that's it. so no, it won't make CN IF more accessible. however, depending on new IF stats, it may make the same or near stats module more accessible.

shield and armor are different, who knew!

eve is about choices, the more the better.

Good piont about a boost to domi/rf invuls would be nice and help give shield a few more levels of pimp rather than the dg/cn being the only choice for the rich and poor alike.

Absolutely true. But fixing that problem would involve a lot more than buffing one module and adding an identical one in the LP store. I trust you'll understand why I'm trying to fix the one issue and not the other?
