I'm not creating this thread to whine about the removal of the in game browser.

I haven't been subbed for almost a year. I always relied on dotlan for Navigation / settings destinations etc...

Is there a way to use out ofgame browser to be able to "set destination" in game?

Yup, it's an API call now. You can do the same thing with a lot of things the IGB did previously. You need to give whatever site you're using an API token and then it can do some limited things with your active Eve client.

I honestly have no idea if Dotlan has implemented this or anything like it.

I believe the CREST call is this one here: http://eveonline-third-party-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/crest/character/char_waypoints.html

Anyone else use dotlan in an out of game browser and can successfully "set destination"?

I tried it with Dotlan about a month ago. Didn't work at the time.

This is the main reason I miss the IGB. in-game route system (and map) is complete garbage.
