Having an issue with BPC's/BPO's

So half the time I look at BPC's and or BPO's and it's showing as the other. I have no idea which ones are BPC's and or BPO's even in my personal hanger I click them and open info and I get a BPC with 1 run remaining sometimes or a BPO or a BPC with 1500 runs and it's really becoming an issue as I'm trying to learn how to do Indy. Anybody have a fix that will enable me to tell what the heck I'm buying?

You can distinguish them by their colours:
pale blue: copy
dark blue: original
Both can have different amount of runs, that depends on how many times they have been used.

In contracts it'll very clearly say which is it, though you may need to expand the window to the right to see that.

There's no way to tell runs of BPCs in your hanger without show-info, on contracts the number of runs will show in the details. An original always has infinite runs. The colour's the main way of telling BPOs and BPCs apart in your hanger.

BPO always have "Runs remaining: infinite"

There is a bug where using Show Info on blueprints will sometimes say that a copy is an original. I've seen this myself but have not been able to replicate it reliably so have not sent a bug report.

It usually manifests itself when you are looking through a set of blueprints and clicking fast on them to show their ME and TE. Sometimes it seems to be more likely to occur if the blueprints are in a can. But as I said it is difficult to reproduce.

It seems to be a fairly rare thing, I haven't seen it occur for a few months, but I click slower now since I got a popup dialogue saying "Slow down ... ", I mean this quite literally :)

I get it fairly often (at least 2/3 times) and once they say original or copy they stay that way. I have yet to find a way to reliably tell wtf I'm buying. I've found posts as far back as 2012 complaining about the glitch but nobody has found a way to reliably duplicate it.

press alt+s or bring up the industry window and use that to browse your blueprints. There are some filter options that make browsing your blueprints a breeze.

Duno if you cleared cache, but that could help.
You can also make filter to show only copies or originals in your hangar.

I've never ever seen this. But then I always make my own copies. Does this happen in contracts only or in other situations as well?

It happens in contracts and in my general inventory. The contracts part is obviously much more the issue as I don't even really know what I'm buying but the inventory is also a pain when I'm trying to figure out which ones I can/need to improve.

How do I clear my cache? The filter works for my inventory but not so much for contracts or my corps blueprint inventory (as an example) any idea beyond pulling them all in and out?

Have you tried it today? There's some verbiage in the patch notes that suggests it might be fixed.
