Greetings fellow star-faring capsuleer, thank you for taking a look through our thread. Everyone in New Eden has, at some point, been in search of a space home. A place where you can login, play Eve in whatever way you want, have fun, socialize, and integrate with a fun and active environment. Most of the time the search can be arduous and fraught with false promises, embellishments, and at the end of the road you find out that the entity you’re prospectively interested in joining is a house of cards, ready to fall at a moment's notice, or incredibly divergent from what they led you to believe. My corporation, FYAD, is not perfect. But we try our damndest to make sure people are having fun, and getin FYAD.

Fun. Community. Getting off work and being excited to go home and play games with your friends. Being able to find something that is fun in game that people in your group won't shame you for doing. Taking t1 cruisers into a nearby pocket and blowing up, and laughing about it. That's the kind of environment I've fostered and cultivated in FYAD. I don't care about your skill points, what major wars you were a part of, or how much ISK you bring to the table. FYAD is strictly built on strength of community.

Our history is pretty long, going back to 2007 or so. We lost the first Citadel in Wormhole Space and (I made Lazerhawks a Pizza for killing it) I've written a somewhat succinct overview of our time in Eve on our website, and I won't bore you with the details here. But, we have a lot of experience, quite a bit of wealth, and we know how to get things done in the game.

We currently own a nicely upgraded pocket out in Detorid. We are at the crux of a ton of potential content for PvP, as well as Industry and PvE. We have upgraded systems for industry, ratting, and of course, exploration. We offer quite a bit of accommodation for a rather large amount of play styles. FYAD is the main pvp corporation in the Empyreus alliance, though we're always looking for new friends to bring into the fold.

In a typical day we could be doing a number of things, from mining to roaming around nearby nullsec, going through wormholes, running Incursions if they're nearby, or hunting with our Black Ops battleships. There are no CTA's, no required hours per week. We are here to have fun, not to make Eve into a terrible time drain. We are pretty strictly USTZ, but have an Australian presence as well.

We have lived in almost every null region in the game, and a huge part of our time in Eve was spent helping to build up various alliances that still hold space and are powerful today. But we've grown to value a small, tight-knit community more-so than being able to put the most amount of people in fleet we can.

Quite a few of us are dread/carrier capable and have them nearby. We're looking to increase the pool of potential capital pilots.

Here is what we offer to anyone looking to join:

  • Discord - Integral part of our community. It's incredibly easy to setup (takes less than a minute) and is great for socialization, event notifications, and keeping up while you're on the go. This is required for you to be registered on. If you're joining a social corporation, you need to have the social part down.

  • Teamspeak 3 - Our primary voice communication platform. We use this for all fleets. From roams, to mining, to sitting around shooting the **** while playing rocket league..

  • Tons of experience to draw off of. We've been together for a very long time, and luckily TEST instilled a willingness to help newbies into us that has become a key part of our identity. Questions? No problem.

  • We have several competent, bordering on decent FC's, that routinely create pvp content several times a week. This includes doctrines that are easy to train into, and even doctrines that have an Alpha friendly component to them.

  • Lots of corp infrastructure for Industry. If that's your thing, you'll have a ton of expensive tools to play with. Manufacturing slots, labs, blueprints. We have several citadels deployed, including a nearby refinery.

  • Alliance level SRP

  • We offer a PI buyback program

  • We are a member of the Phoenix Federation Coalition, and as such, we have pretty strong ties with our friends in the coalition. This provides us with additional content outside of the alliance across all timezones. It also makes sure there is a reasonably well stocked Keepstar within jump range of all capital ships from our home.

So if you're interested in a hassle-free experience in Eve with a bunch of guys and gals who prioritize fun and engaging content over killboard efficiency, isk/hr, and alliance commands, FYAD might be a good fit for you. What do we require from you to join?

  • Good attitude, and ability to take a joke or laugh at yourself
  • Willingness to learn if you're a new player
  • Discord/TS3
  • Full API and registration on our auth (it manages our teamspeak users and permissions). Corporation friendly fire is off. If you're looking to spy, feel free! You might wind up liking us better than your original corporation anyway.

The FYAD and PYRE are great guys to fly with. The Leadership is sound and they hit the content hard.

Good to see PYRE is warming up again!

My apologies for not answering this sooner, we took a short break from recruitment. A lot of us do have capitals, and we will eventually use them in the future, but they're not used on a day-to-day basis atm.
