AUR items and getting podded

Since Aur items turn back into regular items when you unequip them in the re-customization menu, do they disappear when you're podded like an implant or do they stick around like any other avatar gear?

I've been wondering this for a while and haven't been able to find any solid info on the matter.

They unfortunately do not. You can't lose an AUR item once you are using it.

Only way to lose AUR item is to fly with it in cargo hold as an unused item. Once it's on you, it's on you.
