Would not expect the response time to be good for a while. Note the article have an Eve-ish spaceship with a light bar tacked on.

Actually its a great idea to have a whole universe patrolled by space police. Stations in orbit and moon bases. Spaceships too. But there is now little need for it. There is not much crime in those areas now, some of them dont exist yet, maybe in future it would be needed.

Interesting. Are there any agreements on satellite placements/orbits? I suppose not. The best spots have already been taken by whoever got there first.
