Cynos & Carriers allowed in Providence Region?

Hi, I’ve been away from EVE for quite a while, but back now.

I’m looking to setup mining and PI in Providence region; where I operated way back in 2006 as part of a CVA friendly alliance.
I believe my current standings would be neutral as my corp mates have never been fired upon.

I was planning on of using a carrier for logistics. Is this allowed by CVA and the other owners of Providence region?

Diplomacy 101 would suggest CVA are the best people to ask what is ok by them.

EVE 101 would then suggest don't trust their answer.

Aside from proviblock, there are a lot of other groups that roam Providence. Safety from CVA doesn't mean safety from everyone.

I have no illusions of safety, just don't want to start anything with the locals who follow the NRDS

You can cyno right into Delve, if you want.

No reason why not, although some systems might be cyno-jammed. However, the fleet hangar of a carrier is only 10k m3, so go for Rorqual or Jump Freighter. If you have a blue history it shouldn't be that hard to find a corp or alliance in Providence that is recruiting. Get access to intel channels (esp. when mining) and save on PI taxes.

Thanks for the tip.
I'm aware that their are better options now; just don't have the ISK. Need to start earning again ; )
I do have a carrier sitting around though, so that may get me started.

Provibloc has been discussing taxing capitals operating in providence. As others have stated, talk to CVA

It was like you could only fly alpha-clones before there were alpha-clones.

Carriers? We don't need no stinking carriers.

Why would CVA want anyone to enjoy the game to it's full extent?

Actually, carrier ratting is allowed so far, I often rat in a Thanatos there

Just announce to every Carrier Raiding Party that you are operating in a generalized region of space in a PVE fit carrier why don't you.
