Is there a working API mod for phpbb 3 or another forum software?

I need to set up a forum with EVE api management of user permissions etc. In the past there have been a number of mods for this but everything seems to have gone dead and stopped working. The newest I can find is this: https://github.com/shibdib/API-Registration-Mod-Revisited

But it also hasn't had an update in a year. Is is still working with phpbb 3.2.0? I have a clean install.

If not, are there any other, working mods out there? For phpbb 3, or any other forum software.
