is gonna be just like the last Blood Raiders' event, except different skins will drop and accelerators will be named differently?
judging by the structure picture on the event page, even the sites will be identical, except for different rats in them?

PVE hasn't changed much over the years. The main benefit of these events is some unique loot. CCP did experiment with other formats last year - most notably the shadow of the serpent event but the new PVE system isn't ready and I'd rather they invest developer effort in polishing the stuff we already have than rushing new features.

I find it interesting that both the cold iron skins in the blood raider event and the spirit skin for the new event are claimed to have stealth characteristics. I wonder if CCP is preparing us for SKINS that aren't simply cosmetic.

Non-cosmetic skins belong in low, medium, high, and rig slots.

While not necessarily a new idea - it would certainly be interesting. I'd love a SKIN that increases warp speed and inertia.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

if they give any kind of advantage, they would have to be destroyable though. current skins are permanent, arent they?

The dev blog says "performance-enhancing narcotics" which I am mostly assuming are accelerators but possibly could be some other kind of booster. but I'm not expecting much.

Yup, it will be shooting rats for skins and cerebral boosters all over again. I'm actually ok with that.

so am I. last event, I made well over a billion selling skins and accelerators from the event. and I was late to the party too, maybe hunted for a week or less.

No they aren't good skins like the crimson harvest ones.
These skins are those ugly polka dot youl skins they had for Christmas except they're red instead of blue.
Not even original skins just recolors. Super ugly.
