Citadel defence and the Alpha clone

So we attacked a citadel last night from the horde and they all jumped into thier alpha clones to log in and save the initial timer.

So we have to wait another week to hit it and they will do exactly the same.

Citadels in high sec are.....

...So, you fought against horde then? They always have a million random t1 frigates along for the ride, it's half the fun of fighting them.

4- OP's group formed a fleet and went to Horde's citadel to shoot it during the vulnerability window.

7- MY guess is OP's group took a large contract they now realize will not be as easy to fulfill as they though hence the call to nerf citadels with this post and the other one about being able to shoot it outside of the vulnerability window.

If you slog through the post history it actually seems slightly more audacious than that: OP specifically invited high sec structure grind contracts without checking what was involved and now wants to change the rules.

If they brought their Omega toons to the first reinforced timer you would ahve been even more boned. Shooting Alphas is sort of like shooting the Brave Newbies of old , swams of poorly skilled pilots flying cheap ships.
