Click the "E" on top of the neocom -> Accessories -> Calculator / Browser/Stuff

Took me also a while to find out the E was a menu :-)

I only tried to klick it because two days ago the char portrait was on top and I wondered why they put the "E" there.

So, yeah, not that intuitive. It does not make you want to klick it. Just label it menue or something.

I have to agree that I do like the new Neocon apart from the vanishing buttons but im guessing that is a current build bug? or is that just me?

(when entering a station i will often have no buttons visible although i can click on the space where they once were and the item still comes up...)

I found it with no problem at all, though it might have something to do with the last time they did this. I just kind of figured it was a menu.

Not that any of this is a problem anymore as they have a warning dialog about the new neo-com when you run the update for the first time and it tells you to use the E.

...but who reads info windows now-a-days anyway. Some people will still be lost.

Self important much.
1. "Some people will still be lost" being people on TQ who wont read the warning and still complain about it.
2. Some who visit the test forums don't use test server and rely on posts for info. This was still technically unresolved tell I added they fixed it, as there was a comment here after the fix .
3. Check the post time of the whole conversation before accusing an individual of dredging it back up.
4. They had the beginning of the warning dialog quite early in the testing cycle but no proper text tell now. But if you want to be the singular reason it was implemented, go right on ahead.

Well if people would start reading what I write from time to time and start trolling and flame as soon as I say something they would have noticed the "thingy" that I mentioned a few days ago,
the "Windows" menu-thingy with da large E on it, which opens a menu with fancy effects.

Well I guess its just me but most people are used to open the "start" button in da lower right Blink

Perhaps Gnome is actually why I thought to click that. I honestly ignored the dialog at the start, saw the E and thought "I wonder if that does something?".
