So i build a command center on a planet in clone state alpha and now i don't know what to do with it. In clone state alpha you can't export items and i now have 6000 somethingorothers that i don't know what to do with. Can anyone tell me what you can do with these items without exporting them?

Can't you use the Customs Office?

Without the ability to export, you can't do anything with them. They have no value at all unless you can get them off planet. Seems a bit strange that CCP would make a system that you couldn't use, hence my question above.

Pretty sure you can. Do you have a launchpad built?

I don't have enough CPU to make a launch pad

Alphas don't have access to PI. The implementation of this restriction seems to be a bit strange, that you can setup but not export. The only way to make use of your products now is to become Omega.

As an Alpha you should be able to launch from your command center - 500m3 at a time. The payload will go into orbit around the planet - not to the POCO. There is a planetary launches tab in your journal that will have a bookmark for the can.

Any player can setup 1 planet with a command center - no skill required. You can't make much without the ability to upgrade but you can get a taste of what's involved.

You launch them into space and then collect. With your command center, not a launch pad.

Denying access to PI is not strange at all, or people would certainly start funding their omega accounts by having a number of PI alpha accounts. (Of course you can still run cheap omega PI accounts with skill extraction, but at least CCP gets a cut of that when extractors are bought.)

And leaving the PI infrastructure in place and inaccessible seems like a relatively easy solution for the programmers as well as a minimum of hassle for omega accounts that expire and are renewed later.

Yeah, the problem with this post of yours is that it's wrong. PI access isn't denied to Alphas, as we already explained multiple times by now. The OP just needs to stuff his PI into his command center and launch it.

Can we get a first hand confirmation of this?

OK, I went back into my Alpha-account to test this. (I had a test-colony running there.) Turns out you can do almost every step up until actually hitting launch in your command center. Then a little window pops up and tells you to buy Omega.

Welp, looks like I was wrong, sorry about that.

No alphas can't access customs and they can't look at resources on planets. You have to place heads down blindly.
You can produce stuff but you can export any of it.

Alphas are restricted from exporting PI and, I believe, managing structures on planets beyond moving extractor heads and the like . Primarily because if you could export even via command center, what's to stop people from making 10, 20, 100 accounts omega for a month to train PI, then put down pi for something such as say... fuel blocks? Even if all they did was the P1 stuff, that's a LOT of fuel blocks they could make with materials sourced from an alpha account if they can export. Essentially you have severely limited access to it because the intention is to be able to still run resource planets while an account may temporarily be alpha, and be able to get back in the swing of things once you're a subbed account again.
