This is my response to your post complaining about Internet spaceships.

Just stick with one of the NPC corporations. Then all you have to worry about is being ganked...

with that attitude better to one man corp hop and avoid taxes.

I think there is a lot of value in playing with others, but being in a corp that shuts down over a wardec is a horrible way to play eve. there are so many things to do.

a few options off the top of my head:
1. Fight back, t1 frigs/crusiers are cheap and effective. Killing a few shiny ships will win you the isk war and hopefully you will have fun doing it.
2. Go to thera and run exploration sites in nullsec, this is pretty new player friendly, sure you will probably lose a few ships and some loot to camps
3. Head to lowsec there are missions and exploration sites, and you know if you see someone they are trying to kill you rather than just thinking about it like in highsec.
4. Try some manufacturing or trading, neither requires you to leave a station, you can always use courier contracts to move materials and finished goods.
5. go do some wormhole stuff. the low class sites can be done in cheap ships. I did some c1/2 stuff in a frigate, bringing some cruisers or some friends would have sped things up a lot.

The original list published isn't quite the same as the final list of skills released for Alphas, but Corporation Management has been in the whole time, giving an ability to create a Corp that can have up to 20 members.

Hey OP, if you're still here and want another person to weigh in...

Highsec is simply: really poor gameplay design, maybe even intentionally (accidentally). I learned early on to get out of the main areas and play the PVE out in the fringes of the game. After a few months of that and a mix of some PVP learning experiences, I found out the best PVE has PVP, it's the ones where you know or feel like there's a hunter on the way (another player) and it's like a race to finish your site before they can get to you. Or you can be the person that springs the trap to see what they bring. I've had some terrific and very romantic fights because of this. I digress, I love how I play the game so that doesn't mean you will.

If you wanna live in highsec forever - even though someone can pay off CONCORD and hold Large Ion Blaster II's to your head, then stay in the NPC corp. Or maybe learn how to be the guy that does the extortion and the threatening?

The ultra-safe highsec you wish for is the rookie systems you originally started in. You won't be running level IV's or doing 4/10's or mining anything better than Veldspar.

Reading that people can pull down 200m an hour in highsec makes me have an existential crisis - or maybe question why I play the way I do at all or even if I should anymore lol. I digress again.

The point here is the game requires you to be adaptive. I hope you don't quit too early.

And why would no one here suggest to this poor newbie that he should make an undock bookmark to get into and out of station?

join us screw Mission running come out here I make a lot more money and it's a lot safer and a lot more fun even with all the PVP **** when I mean safer I make enough money when I lose something it doesn't ******* bother me cuz I can buy it back within 15 minutes from the money I made from killing things in the asteroid belts

if you want to make money go out to 0.0 space and buy a vni and do Sanctums

This is terrible advice. Join a corp, join comms, and have fun.

If you look at war decs as part of this game & learn how to deal with them they can actually be fun.

There's a lot of good advice above, but for my part I'd suggest you try & make this a learning exercise. Remember knowledge is power.
