hello everyone.

I tried to search through the forum/google before but i found only (very) old threads so i'm here asking :
Is there a way to try to import illegal stuff? Where i can find a list of what is illegal and where?

And who decide what is illegal?

I tried several tips suggested in past threads but nothing works.

Thanks in advance!

I think that boosters have been made legal now so the drugs can be freely imported/exported through highsec. I could be wrong but slaves might still be illegal in minmatar space.

Unfortunately slaves are LEGAL in minmatar space but not in Caldari space. So there is no way to import slaves if they are illegal?

Slaves are still illegal, and there are a few different ways to smuggle them. I am a slave trader, and I do this all the time. Avoiding customs fines is the most important part of transporting slaves for profit. A single fine will destroy your profits.

You need a blockade runner or covert ops capable ship. Even still, you're going to get fined a dozen times before you learn the best methods for jumping through stargates.

Cloak the instant you issue the jump/warp command to the next gate, but BE DECLOAKED by the time you land on your destination gate, and spam the jump command. Do this every time.

The reason for decloaking before your warp ends at the stargate is because if you land on it while cloaked, you remain stationary for a tick or two while automatically decloaking prior to jump, which is enough times for customs to scan you down. If they threaten to destroy your ship, just run. They won't point you if you cloak instantly :) You jump fastest using this method

Off topic: I just had to laugh looking at portraits here. Spock is getting advice from Johnny Cash about how to profit from breaking the law. Carry on.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

That momentary delay is not caused by your cloak, it is simply a part of the warp to zero mechanic. Carefully set up book marks on gate you travel consistently and then warping to them can eliminate this momentary delay.

Before I go on with the rest I have not tested this in over a year, it may have changed so test first before you rely on this.
The gate will not force decloak you until your are 2,000 meters from it.
You can activate the gate once you reach 2,500 meters.
Activating jump and acceleration gates does not require the activation of a module on your ship so you can do this while cloaked.
With carefully set up book marks (yes it will take at least 2 for every gate) and some careful flying you can jump through gates without ever decloaking on the inbound side. The real question is it worth the time and effort fro the small advantage you gain.

I think there is too much emphasis on the "illegal" part of the usual definition of smuggling. The fact of the matter is that if people are trying to blow up your ship, then you're smuggling. I live in Stain, so everything I move is smuggling, as I evade multiple gate camps and station camps to make a profit. If there are blockades, then it is smuggling whatever the empire laws might say.

If you like being a smuggler, just pick a route that is inherently risky, like an HS bubble, or NPC nullsec, or join a nullsec alliance deep in the heart of null, where the only way to get the get the goods to your alliance's pocket is to move the goods though hostile territory.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

now that boosters are legal the whole smuggling thing seems pretty meh vs npcs. All the illegal stuff was decided by ccp many years ago and aside from the booster changes I don't think much has been done. running trade routes in low/null sec seems to be a far more interesting thing like Iria Ahrens mentions.

Like bounties, smuggling is something that would be nice to see overhauled...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
